CorSera: Ibrahimovic could be back for Juve-Milan but it depends on the pain

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will face Liverpool tonight but they will have to do it without their big star, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swede is experiencing some discomfort in his Achilles tendon and will thus miss out on the clash.

Ibrahimovic made his return on Sunday evening as he came on against Lazio, scoring the 2-0 goal just a few minutes later. It’s clear, therefore, that his absence is a big blow for Milan although they will face the game without fear.

According to Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews), the Swede could be back in action already on Sunday, when Milan will face Juventus. If the pain has subsided by then, Stefano Pioli will call him up for the game.

The Rossoneri will evaluate the condition of the striker on a day-to-day basis, which means we should know more about the matter in the coming days. Hopefully, he will be back for the important Juve clash.
