CorSera: Ibrahimovic ‘stunned’ by revolution at Milan; ‘tension’ between him and Gazidis

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been left ‘stunned’ by the idea that AC Milan will undergo another revolution in the summer at management level, a report claims.

The Rossoneri appear set for yet another ‘Year Zero’ this summer with multiple reports claiming that Zvonimir Boban’s exit will be joined by that of Paolo Maldini, with Ralf Rangnick set to come in as head coach and sporting director.

According to il Corriere della Sera on Sunday (via MilanNews), the turnaround in Milan’s top management left Ibrahimovic stunned.

Ibra is annoyed because he already expected to have held a meeting to discuss his renewal, given the immense impact that he had on the team. The paper claims that on Saturday there were moments of tension between him and Gazidis at training. In the absence of Maldini and Boban, or the referents with whom he has dealt with so far, Zlatan is very unlikely to stay at Milan beyond the summer.
