CorSera: Juve game another test of Milan’s credentials – they approach with courage and enthusiasm

Tonight’s game will be yet another huge test of AC Milan’s title credentials as they welcome Juventus to San Siro.

As il Corriere della Sera reports this morning (via MilanNews), Milan’s growth over the past few months has come from a change in mentality that Stefano Pioli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have imparted on the team, a belief that they can not only compete with any team but beat them too.

During his pre-match press conference Pioli was very clear in explaining that he would absolutely not sign for a draw because the goal of he and his team is to win every game and to keep first place in the standings.

The paper adds that Milan’s slogan is always the same: courage and enthusiasm. Despite the fact a young team will take to the field and despite the fact that Ibrahimovic, Bennacer, Saelemaekers, Tonali and Gabbia will be missing, they want to try to bring home the three points.

July’s success against Juve will be in the memory still, as Milan won 4-2 against Juventus at San Siro after being two goals down. “That match must remind us that it’s never over and you can beat anyone,” the Rossoneri coach reiterated yesterday.

Tonight’s game cannot be considered decisive, but winning again would mean that Milan really start to believe in what they are building.
