CorSera: Juventus offer striker in bid to sign €15m Milan winger – the response

By Oliver Fisher -

Juventus are interested in signing Alexis Saelemaekers from AC Milan and they offered up a swap deal involving another forward, according to a report.

According to what is being reported by Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews), Saelemaekers has returned to Milan but he will not stay as the management are trying to find him a new club following his loan spell at Bologna.

The winger did well under the guidance of Thiago Motta but they decided not to use their option to buy due to the fact that Motta has left for Juventus and they have appointed Vincenzo Italiano as his replacement, who wants to rely on other profiles.

Thus, Saelemaekers will return to Milanello even if he will only be passing through because Geoffrey Moncada and his team are looking to find him new accommodation, and this time on a permanent basis.

A possible suitor are Juventus who are now coached by Motta, and their sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has offered Milan an exchange deal involving striker Moise Kean as per the newspaper. It is the same as what was reported last August.

The Rossoneri, however, refused this and relaunched with a request of at least €15m. The two sides remain locked in their positions: Milan want to cash in and want the full price, while Juve think it is too expensive.

  1. Kean is their version of our Origi. LOL they cannot give him away. If his salary was lower, i’d take him but as of now, I think i’ll pass on the deal. We already have an Origi. (plus we have Jovic as our backup). We need a starting 11 ST.

  2. Kean is a good striker, most strikers struggle under allegri ball. But maybe ppl didn’t watch when he was with psg and scoring plenty of goals.

  3. Kean is a better striker and a better fit than Jovic. So this is a good deal for Milan. Jovic cannot play as a lone striker. Kean would fit as a good young solid backup and he is best friends with Leao.

Jovic would be a waste of money in my opinion. He plays better as a 2nd striker and be don’t play a formation with 2 strikers.

  4. It’s crazy to believe Milan would pass up Kean Swap exchange with headless chicken.
The said deal is too good to be real.
    Faux news.
