AC Milan will make an investment on a new centre-forward in the summer and the kind of profile they are after has been outlined, a reprort claims.
This morning’s edition of Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) speaks about the future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and how his time at Milan might be coming to an end with no rush at the moment on the part of the Rossoneri management to offer a new deal.
Not only that, but the paper claims that Milan have a mission for the summer: to find a young, talented centre-forward who has a lot of potential and can work alongside one of the game’s greats in Olivier Giroud.
Milan have not had many guarantees from their strikers this season with only Giroud proving himself to be reliable in terms of being a source of goals and being able to put together a long run of games without interruption due to injury.
It’s interesting because if you look at the names being thrown around, Scamacca is the only realistic target that would be a starter.
They do actually seem to be looking for an understudy, to a guy who has scored 8 league goals?
