CorSera: Milan and Pioli shine in another strong away outing – must improve at home

By Isak Möller -

Milan continued their impressive away record with another win last night, beating Parma by three goals to one despite going down to ten men. The Samp draw is thus forgotten and now they need to continue like this.

As reported by Corriere Della Sera this morning (via MilanNews), Milan started the game strong and after Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s sending off, they showed that they can perform when up against it as well.

Stefano Pioli made some crucial substitutions to keep the energy level up and this paid off in the end, as Rafael Leao sealed the deal in stoppage time. The Rossoneri remain very hard to beat away from home, in other words, but they need to improve at home.

They haven’t won at San Siro since February 7 and their next two games will be at the stadium (vs. Genoa and Sassuolo). In the Champions League race, they can’t afford to drop any more points.
