CorSera: Milan yet to make decision on future of Belgian youngster

AC Milan have still not decided what they will do about the future of Belgian midfielder Charles De Ketelaere who failed to impress in his first season at the club, a report claims.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera (via Milan News), the Rossoneri management are undecided about whether to cut their losses and sell De Ketelaere, or whether he should be given another year in the first team to prove himself.

It seems likely that a decision is not going to be taken until after he returns from the U21 European Championships in Romania and Georgia where he is representing Belgium.

There is a clear parallel with Sandro Tonali, given he did not impress in his first year with Milan but later bloomed into a player that is being sold for €70 million.

They could still loan him out, but a sale cannot be ruled out if the right offer comes in.

  1. With a stingy boss, Milan will not sign many new players. Flops like CDK, Adil and Origi will be tasked to step up.

  2. If he’s reall the worst signing by Maldini, well the only logical thing to do for this new era is to sell him. That’d make such a statement, right?

I’ve been saying that it’s nothing fantastic about the ability to sell our key players. So here’s a more challenging task: to get rid of him without losing too many valuation on the book.
