CorSera: Milan eager to bounce back and Torino clash is crucial – strong reaction needed

By Isak Möller -

Once again, Milan will have to grith their teeth and show that they are strong even in times of great difficulty. With several key players unavailable, it’s a decimated squad that will take on Torino this evening.

As highlighted by Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri’s goal is clear as day: to forget the defeat against Juventus. It was their first after 304 days unbeaten in Serie A, consisting of 27 games.

In short, Stefano Pioli side will need a strong and clear reaction, and the sooner the better. Tonight’s clash against Torino thus represents fundamental crossroad; another maturity exam that they can’t afford to fail.

Despite the loss, the match against Juve confirmed the qualities of a group that, in recent months, has grown a lot from a technical and mental point of view. That being said, a win is needed to immediately raise your head and resume the race.

The problem, as already mentioned, is that so many important players (and usual starters) are missing for the Rossoneri. From midfield up, therefore, it’s a red alert. Pioli asks his team for a last effort, with some players expected to be back shortly.
