AC Milan have continued their excellent start to the league season as they racked up a seventh win in eight Serie A games against Hellas Verona.
As il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) writes how Milan have no managed to rack up as many points after eight rounds as they have done this season (22) in the three points per win era, and Stefano Pioli’s squad have shown that they are up for the fight and they have amply demonstrated that they are not inferior to the other teams.
The comeback win over Verona is just the latest proof of the resilience of this Milan – one that never dies. Even though the team were top of the league after eight games last season, it feels like the current side have a different mentality and are more equipped from a technical point of view.
The Scudetto mission has been launched and after the second-placed finish last season, the Rossoneri have higher ambitions. It will not be straightforward and there will be challenging periods, but this team is ready to tackle them head on.
