CorSera: Milan begin right winger hunt – Real Madrid and Sassuolo duo on the list

One of the areas that the AC Milan management know that they must strengthen this summer is the right wing department, and a couple of targets have emerged.

Both Junior Messias and Alexis Saelemaekers have been inconsistent this season, with a cycle developing whereby one would be the starter but would disappoint, the other would show some bright signs and take the spot of the other, but would then also drop off causing them to be swapped again.

Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) writes that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara know a right winger is needed, one who can bring goals and assists to the attacking department and reduce the burden on the left flank.

Marco Asensio will leave Real Madrid on a free transfer and he is admired by the directors, as is Domenico Berardi who could finally depart Sassuolo and has already pursued by the Rossoneri in the past.

Although there have been plenty of links in the media, it appears that a move for Nicolo Zaniolo of Galatasaray is currently unlikely.
