CorSera: When Milan duo Origi and Rebic will be back at Pioli’s disposal

By Isak Möller -

Divock Origi and Ante Rebic have struggled with injuries at the start of this season and this has put Stefano Pioli in some difficulty. Fortunately, they are expected to be back in action soon, a report claims.

Milan will take on Napoli this evening and due to Rafael Leao’s suspension, Pioli will start Alexis Saelemaekers on the left flank. Rebic would have been the natural replacement and Origi would have been an option as well.

According to Corriere Della Sera, as cited by MilanNews, both Origi and Rebic are set to be back at Pioli’s disposal after the break. It’s possible that they could feature in the game against Empoli, therefore, but nothing should be taken for granted.

For now, Pioli and Milan are focused on beating Napoli and it remains to be seen what Saelemaekers can muster up on the left flank. Most likely, his presence will allow Theo Hernandez to venture forward more often.
