CorSera: Milan to be backed by a sell-out crowd in crucial Atalanta game

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan should be backed by a capacity crowd at San Siro tonight in the huge game against local rivals Atalanta, a report claims.

Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) report how even during the crisis that took place in January the fans still came to the stadium to support the team, with the minimum crowd always being over 70,000.

This evening against Atalanta there will be renewed enthusiasm after three wins in a row without conceding a goal, and a full house is expected as a result. Therefore, there should be over 74,000 fans at the stadium just as there was for the Spurs game in the Champions League, which made a big difference.

Milan have struggled against Atalanta at San Siro, with the win last season being their first against them there since 2014, but they they will hope to keep up what has been a good run of form in February thus far in what is a big game in the top four race.
