CorSera: Milan’s window in full compliance with Elliott’s guidelines as youth project continues

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have continued this summer with the recruitment strategy that American ownership Elliott Management have imposed.

Milan’s owners Elliott have so far preferred a recruitment strategy centered around buying young players with high potential to develop and record capital gains on the balance sheet.

Six players arrived last summer; namely Theo Hernandez, Ismael Bennacer, Rade Krunic, Leo Duarte, Rafael Leao and Ante Rebic – the oldest being 25. While some experience was the introduced in the winter, this summer has seen a return to the status quo.

As il Corriere della Sera notes (via MilanNews), Milan have completely the signing of Sandro Tonali (20), Brahim Diaz (21) and Jens Petter Hauge (20) so far in the current window. Diogo Dalot will soon be announced and he is 21 years of age, while Ozan Kabak (20) could also join the ranks.

In short, the youth project continues. They are of course talented and with a huge potential, in full compliance with Elliott’s guidelines.
