Lucas Paqueta is in doubt for AC Milan’s encounter with Torino on Thursday evening, following a knock he picked up during the derby on Saturday evening. According to Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews.it), the situation is currently unclear.
The Brazilian midfielder started the game on the bench, but was brought on in the second half to bring some life into the Rossoneri. In many ways, he succeeded, although it didn’t result in a goal for his side.
However, his performance was strong enough to question Giampaolo’s team selection, which had already been heavily criticised by the fans before the game. Therefore, against Torino, many are expecting so see Paqueta from start.
As reported by the newspaper, however, the midfielder is struggling with a flexor problem, which could keep on the sidelines for Thursday’s trip to Turin. The player’s condition will be assessed before Giampaolo names his squad on Wednesday evening.
