Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been out for some time now with an Achilles tendon injury, but his return to the pitch is getting closer and closer.
The Swedish superstar started training with the group again several days ago at Milanello and it is thus expected that he will be available for today’s match against Verona on the bench.
However, as reported by Corriere della Sera (via milannews.it), the final decision will only be taken this morning, but there is the confidence that the attacker will be available at least for a part of the match.
In the meantime, however, Pioli has an idea in his mind about Ibrahimovic’s, with the Rossoneri manager looking to have Ibra fully available for the Champions League matchup against Porto on Tuesday.
This would be a big boost for the entire team, seeing as Ibrahimovic has so far missed all Champions League matches and featured for the team for a mere 30 minutes across all competitions this season.
