AC Milan are set to secure a deadline day double deal, with Ante Rebic to arrive and Andre Silva to leave in a swap with Eintracht Frankfurt, according to multiple outlets.
Out of nowhere, reports emerged from a number of sources on Sunday stating that the Rossoneri were in advanced talks with Eintracht over a deal for Rebic.
Our mercato expert Vito Angele then told us that an agreement had been struck and that the Croatia international was due to arrive in Milano on Sunday evening ahead of his Monday medicals.
It also then emerged that Andre Silva is set to move the other way, something confirmed by our mercato expert Vito Angele.
Monday’s edition of il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews.it) gives an update on the specifics of the deal.
The Rome-based newspaper claims that the valuation of the two players in the deal is the same, and that it will be a two-year loan for each with a €5m loan fee and right to buy set at €25m.
