CorSera: Second spell at Milan has changed Ibrahimovic – he’s a true leader

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic may be 40-years-old, but he’s still capable of performing on a very high level even if injuries have stopped him this season. And his second spell at AC Milan has changed him a bit.

As highlighted by Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic has changed the mentality of Milan but Milan have also changed him a bit. Today, he’s increasingly mature, more aware and more authoritative.

In short, he’s now a true leader that leads the team in the best way possible, even if he isn’t on the pitch. All of the Rossoneri teammates have praised him and without him, they probably wouldn’t have been on this level.

There’s no doubt about it, his leadership in the locker room is one of the keys to Milan’s rebirth. But as mentioned, the second spell at the club has also changed Ibrahimovic a bit. All for the better, of course.
