Three of AC Milan’s most important players are going to have medical evaluations on Monday to see whether they can make their returns against Cagliari on Wednesday or if they have to wait for the weekend.
As has been reported by Corriere della Sera (via Milan News), Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria will be getting a lot of attention at Milanello due to their physical conditions.
The trio were all absent from the squad to face Hellas Verona on Saturday afternoon due to injuries but Stefano Pioli would love to recover them for the midweek trip to Cagliari.
It remains to be seen what the medical assessments will bring, but there is a chance of them being back in time for the trip to Sardinia.
If that does not transpire, then the match at San Siro against Lazio on Saturday which will theoretically be a much tougher task for Milan.
Let Theo to rest or u will make a bigger problem. He is not responsible that u didnt bring backup player.
Let Bartesaghi play, and Florenzi on the other side. Better than rushing players back. Same with Sportiello.
I agree that Theo & Co shouldn’t be rushed to play Wednesday. Save them for Lazio.
