CorSport: AC Milan’s meeting with Raiola; two renewals in sight

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are currently struggling on the pitch, losing four of their first six games of the season. However, on the sidelines, work continues as usual for the management, who have two contract renewals in sight.

According to Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), the Rossoneri met Mino Raiola last week to discuss the contracts of Bonaventura and Donnarumma. Boban and Maldini intend to extend the deal of the goalkeeper, though the salary remains an issue.

As the report claims, Mino Raiola is not willing to accept anything less than €6m in the new deal, which is the same amount that ‘Gigio’ currently earns. Milan, on the other hand, would like to spread the salary over one more year.

As for Bonaventura, the current contract expires next summer and the Rossoneri are expected to make an offer in the coming weeks, the report states. The midfielder has recently returned from injury and will soon get more consistent playing time.
