Tommaso Pobega could remain at Bologna beyond this season but according to a report, AC Milan will need to lower their demands in order for that to happen.
Pobega left Milan last summer on a season-long loan with an option to buy at €12m. The 25-year-old made 30 appearances this past season, including 20 minutes in the Coppa Italia final, and bagged seven goal contributions in the process.

According to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via Il Garante), Bologna would like to keep Pobega but they deem the €12m price tag as excessive. As such, it will be necessary for the Rossoblu to sit down with Milan and discuss a discount.
In spite of the disagreements on the price, everything is pointing towards a permanent stay at Bologna for Pobega, as the report concludes. The fact that Vincenzo Italiano, the head coach, looks set to stay most likely plays a big part as well.
It’s possible that the Rossoneri could grant a slight discount, perhaps taking €2m off the price, since they will be making a full capital gain on the player regardless. On the other hand, he’s still relatively young and Italian, so it would be foolish for Milan to give him away for peanuts.

Give Pobega to AC Torino in Ricci deal instead. 20 millions + Pobega
What difference does it make, if we sell for 10M to one or the other?
Then give us Pobega back.
If they don’t want to pay 12mil then bring him back.
I must admit Pobega looked like a terrible player the last couple games I’ve seen him play for bologna. I don’t get how can you guys talk so much s**t about every midfielder in the squad yet praise him. Bologna are probably imagining like 2 or 3 million.
No Ricci, sold reijnders. We already have the replacement: pobega. Milan homegrown player, Italian and relatively young.
Pobega to replace Tiji??
if we want progress with Gerry’s moneyball system we can do that and finish 15th next season
Unless you can tell me which undervalued metrics Pobega has (or is perceived to have) that contribute to the overall team tactics, then that’s not ‘Moneyball’.
8-10m that is the discount Bologna going to get
Let’s be honest – he’s not a very good player and if he wasn’t Italian many would say to get rid of him. He cannot hold a starting position for a small team. He’s 26? He is what he is now. Slow and technically limited. He’s not a DM despite his size and he’s not skilled enough to be a starting ACM. Too slow and not very good touch. He’s a bench player and for his age rather give the minutes to a younger players like Bondo, Zerolli, Liberali etc….
I would sell for a box of Belgian Chocolates and thrown in Teracciano for free
He will sit bench or be in the stands so may as well get chat you can for him – 6-8M is good enough. Move on he’s not good just like Teracciano.
I can not see how you all see in Pobega, He was a good Box to Box, in Pioli, we think he can be kessie, is not, he was a very different player from our youth, you need to know what his ability to play in what position, then he can become good.
I will prefer to put pavlovic as our DM, as he can destroy the enemy, faster enough, and can carry ball to forward.
