Christian Comotto has ended up on the radar of Bologna, who are looking to focus on youngsters and could thus rival Avellino this summer.
After what can only be described as a very good season with Spezia in Serie B, loaned out from Milan, Comotto has attracted the interest of several clubs. Just a few days ago, it was reported that Avellino’s new coach Alessandro Nesta had made him a direct request.

At the same time, Milan will have to carefully evaluate Comotto during the pre-season. There could potentially be a spot for him in the squad for the upcoming season, even if another loan seems more likely for the time being.
Serie A or Serie B?
According to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, Bologna are looking to revitalise their squad with some young players for the upcoming season. For example, they are keeping tabs on Mattia Liberali (who still has some ties to Milan).
Comotto is another player that they are looking at, potentially rivalling Avellino in the race. The fact that they can offer Serie A football will surely entice the player, but there also needs to be some sort of guarantee of playing time. That is something Avellino can provide.
