Andrea Belotti has been on Milan’s radar for many years now, but every summer the striker has remained at Torino. This time out, however, it seems the 27-year-old could really say goodbye to Turin.
As reported by today’s edition of Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews), the striker could move to Rome instead and start an adventure with Roma. His contract will expire in 2022 and the Giallorossi have expressed their interest.
Because of the contract, Torino won’t be able to demand a huge transfer fee and thus Milan shouldn’t be ruled out of the race. Zlatan Ibrahimovic recently had surgery and the Rossoneri could be forced to act on the market.
Of course, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara also have other targets on their wish list and Belotti is by no means a certain first choice. As a boyhood Milan fan, joining the club would surely be a dream for the striker.
