AC Milan would have to shell out €28million to land Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea, a report claims, but it would certainly be money well spent.
Tomori arrived at Milan in January on a six-month loan from Chelsea, where he had been struggling to get playing time, and the Rossoneri managed to include an option to buy and given how he’s performed, speculation is growing that they will exercise that option.
The English centre-back has quickly adapted to Italian football and Stefano Pioli’s system, even benching the Rossoneri’s captain Alessio Romagnoli. It’s clear, therefore, that he has the qualities to become a very good player.
According to today’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan will complete the permanent signing of Fikayo Tomori for €28million in the coming months. The paper argues that based on what we have seen on the pitch the 23-year-old has always been among the best, so it would be money well spent.
