CorSport: Demiral remains ahead of Todibo on AC Milan’s wish list

As the January window is approaching, AC Milan are preparing to make a few signings, following a poor start to the season. In particular, they are looking to reinforce the defence, which hasn’t been as good as expected.

Furthermore, just a few weeks ago, Leo Duarte sustained an injury that will keep him out for quite some time. According to today’s edition of Corriere Dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com), it’s one of the main reasons behind Milan’s centre-back pursuit.

Merih Demiral remains the number one target, as the report continues, although Juventus are asking for a very high transfer fee (€35m). In the last few hours, the Rossoneri have also been linked with Barcelona’s Jean-Clair Todibo.

The 19-year-old impressed many during the game against Inter earlier this week, and you can understand why he’s wanted. Per the report, Milan could try to bring him in on loan, although it remains to be seen if Barcelona would accept such a proposal.
