CorSport: Pulisic, exits and injuries – Fonseca to make changes vs. Real Madrid

AC Milan will travel to Chicago soon where they will play their second Soccer Champions Tour game against Real Madrid, and some news on the possible team has emerged.

As Corriere dello Sport (via Radio Rossonera) report, there are some changes to the squad that is out in the USA to consider. Noah Okafor, Francesco Camarda and Kevin Zeroli flew out to join their team-mates, with Rafael Leao also now back too.

Lorenzo Colombo and Daniel Maldini – destined for Empoli and Monza respectively – have left, while Alessandro Florenzi will fly back to Italy for a knee operation and Marco Sportiello is out for 2-3 moths.

The squad available to Paulo Fonseca is expanding and the coach is thinking of deploying Christian Pulisic in the attacking midfield position against Real Madrid, thus keeping Samuel Chukwueze on the right.

Leao joined his teammates on Sunday, immediately after the friendly against Manchester City, and has already had his first training session under the guidance of Fonseca yesterday. Okafor, Zeroli and Camarda arrive today, which probably rules them out of a start.

The paper suggest that one change that Fonseca will make to the line-up against Los Blancos is to use Pulisic as a playmaker behind the striker, with Chukwueze getting a starting spot on the right flank.

Florenzi must also be replaced from to the XI that started against Manchester City, with Tommaso Pobega, Yacine Adli, Musah and Ruben Loftus-Cheek the candidates. There will be no Colombo either, so Marco Nasti or Luka Jovic could come in.
