CorSport: Ibrahimovic could be named on the bench for Milan-Lecce

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be called up and be on the bench for the game against Lecce at San Siro tomorrow evening, according to a report.

According to Corriere della Sport (via PianetaMilan), Ibrahimovic did the entire training session yesterday at Milanello for the second consecutive time, thus increasing his chances of being available for tomorrow’s game.

Stefano Pioli will decide after the morning’s final session whether to call Ibrahimovic up and have him start the game on the bench after a month’s absence due to injury.

In addition to that, Olivier Giroud could have a rest and Ante Rebic is ready to lead the forward line instead of Divock Origi if he does indeed get a game off.

Davide Calabria will miss out through disqualification and will be replaced by Alessandro Florenzi, while Pierre Kalulu should start alongside Fikayo Tomori thus giving Simon Kjaer the chance to catch his breath too.
