Andrej Kostic will arrive in the summer and he’s hoping to secure a first-team spot with AC Milan for the upcoming season.
It was at the end of March that Milan announced the signing of Kostic from Partizan Belgrade. The striker had been heavily linked with the Rossoneri during the January window but as no agreement was reached, negotiations continued between the two clubs.

The final fee ended up at €3m, lower than the requested amount in January, so Milan were rather pleased with the outcome. The deal will materialise on July 1st so that’s why Kostic hasn’t been at the training ground yet or anything like that.
Eyeing a spot
In any case, as reported by Corriere dello Sport this morning (via MilanNews), Kostic will be part of the first-team when pre-season kicks off on July 12. He’s hoping to prove himself to the new manager and thus earn a spot in the squad for the upcoming season.
At the age of 19, staying is far from a guarantee (with a loan looking likely) but some good performances in the friendly could get Milan to change their mind. Nevertheless, the player is looking forward to joining the club and has remained in good form since the March statement.

These are usually the Maldini lovers. They believe that the whole club should be filled with Italians. I agree that an Italian owner would have the competitive spirit for the ambitions of this clubs fan base. But I think a large part has to do with nationalism. So that is why they are all piling on right now with the management being in a mess. They value pulisic because it is clear and obvious that he is the best attacking option the club has and by letting him go there is no one of his quality they can lean on.
That’s what I call irony, I couldn’t care less even if we don’t have a single Italian player in the first XI as long as those on the pitch have (and bring us) real quality. It would be interesting to see how it will work out with a foreign coach, though, ACM’s tradition “speaks” (and very strongly so!) against such an appointment.

Did Inter not win everything without Italians, the ones with exception of around 3 are useless, have not qualified for World Cup, for 12 years and you want them at Milan, you need a psychological assessment fairly soon
