CorSport: Latest on the condition of Rebic and Brahim Diaz ahead of crucial run of games

By Oliver Fisher -

Some information has arrived regarding AC Milan’s two injured forwards ahead of a crucial stretch of four games.

The Rossoneri will travel to Belgrade this week for the first leg of their Europa League Round of 32 clash, then face Inter on Sunday afternoon before the return leg on Thursday, and then a trip to face Roma follows that.

According to il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive), the recovery time for Brahim Diaz is different from that of Ante Rebic. The Spaniard is likely to miss the Red Star tie and in the Milan-Inter game, and could in theory miss the next four or five games.

In the coming days there will be new medical tests and his situation will be better clarified, but as seen with other players muscle injuries are very delicate and must be treated with the right attention.

Ante Rebic’s injury is nothing serious meanwhile and he should be back for the derby game against Inter. A call-up is possible for the Europa League match scheduled for Thursday.
