CorSport: Loftus-Cheek’s absence reaches one month – he still feels pain

By Oliver Fisher -

Yesterday’s training session at Milanello seems to have ironed out AC Milan’s injury situation in view of tomorrow’s game against Napoli, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) this morning, Ruben Loftus-Cheek will not be involved in the game at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona as his recovery continues.

The English midfielder has been absent for a month now. He is working separately, but still feels pain in his movements which is why he will not be risked tomorrow, with the hope being that he can return to face Udinese.

Luka Jovic is hoping to be available though. The former Fiorentina player got injured during warm-ups in the second half of PSG-Milan in the Champions League, and while he did individual work during training yesterday he should train with the squad today.

Meanwhile, Noah Okafor – who trained with the rest of the team yesterday – will certainly be available for the match.
