As reported by Il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is attracting the attention of two Italian teams above all, namely Milan and Lazio.
The Rossoneri have been following the Englishman since January and could try to sign him to strengthen their midfield department, but attention must be paid to the Biancocelesti as Maurizio Sarri is a great admirer of the 27-year-old.
While Chelsea hold the option to extend his deal – which is currently set to expire in June 2024 – for another season, the paper claims that the Blues could cash in for the right price given their need to create room in the squad through sales.
The player himself might also relish the chance for a fresh start in Italy having seen Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham – his former team-mates at Chelsea – do the same and succeed.
