CorSport: Milan prepare attempt for Brest defender after Terracciano signing

AC Milan have secured the services of Filippo Terracciano from Hellas Verona, with just the final details remaining, and they are now preparing an attempt for Lilian Brassier. The Brest centre-back is one of the Rossoneri’s top targets, a report claims.

Milan are ready to welcome Terracciano to the club next week, having reached an agreement with Verona, and just the final contract details remain. It’s a great addition for Stefano Pioli as he can play in both full-back roles, as well as in midfield.

However, as reported by Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), the defence still has some problems with depth as the likes of Pierre Kalulu, Malick Thiaw, and Fikayo Tomori are on the sidelines. Brassier has thus ended up at the top of the agenda.

The left-footed centre-back has a price tag of around €12m, which Milan will attempt to lower in their talks with Brest. The latter, however, are not in a position where they have to sell Brassier and this could make the negotiations difficult.

On the other hand, the fact that his contract will expire in 2025 plays in Milan’s favour. In the meantime, the likes of Matteo Gabbia, Theo Hernandez, Simon Kjaer and Jan-Carlo Simic will cover the position for Stefano Pioli.
