Around 18k fans are expected to be at Mapei Stadium for AC Milan’s clash against Sassuolo tomorrow. An incredible number, but many failed to get tickets and thus a viewing party is expected in Milano.
The Rossoneri are just one point from clinching the Scudetto and it would be their first since 2011. A lot is at stake for the final game, therefore, and 18k fans are expected in Reggio Emilia. Impressive, given that the stadium can host 21.5k in total.
There are many fans that didn’t get tickets for the game, though, and thus Milan have decided to organise a viewing party for them in Milano. As per Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews), they are waiting for the final authorisation related safety and public order.
The authorities involved are discussing the matter and a final answer is expected within the day. Hopefully, Milan will be allowed to host the party as the atmosphere should be nothing but fantastic.
