Among the names that should leave AC Milan this summer is Samu Castillejo and a return to Spain beckons, according to a report.
Castillejo struggled for playing time last season as he made just five appearances, even if one of them was off the bench against Hellas Verona during which he helped inspire a 3-2 comeback win.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), the winger knows that he is not part of Milan’s plans and he would like to return home to Spain, with the Rossoneri management now waiting to receive the right offer.
The paper goes on to mention that Castillejo could now represent a great opportunity for Gennaro Gattuso’s Valencia, with the two having the chance to meet again after the 2018-19 season during which Rino was the head coach of the Rossoneri and used him more than a few times on the right side of his front three.
Milan is awaiting offers for Samu Castillejo for 2 years now. At this point, with 1 year left on his contract, just buy him out and get him out of the team. No team will pay any money for Samu.
That is a net loss, there are reasons to keep someone for another year if you don’t receive an offer that is enough. Next year you need to ask for less to net profit.

If he makes 2.5 mil a year , offer him 1.25-1.5 mil to end his contract, and he can be free to sign with any team and make up the other million with them
