CorSport: Milan could launch new offer for €20m Marseille midfielder after first bid was rejected

AC Milan have made an offer for Marseille star Boubacar Kamara and could go back in with a fresh bid, according to a report.

Today’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive) confirms that Milan want to sign Kamara from Marseille at an affordable figure given that his contract expires at the end of the 2021-22 season and there is nothing suggesting a renewal is imminent.

At the moment the management will not move from the €12m already offered to the Ligue 1 side, but the request of the French club is €20m. It cannot be excluded that a new attempt will be made to try and secure a player who is considered functional to the project.

The Marseille midfielder does not intend to renew his contract which means that Marseille are left in a tough situation whereby they sell him in a cut-price deal or they let him leave for free in one year. The proposals that will arrive and Kamara’s decision on the team in which he wants to play for will be decisive.
