CorSport: Milan finally wrap up Tomori deal with Chelsea – option will fluctuate around €25m

AC Milan are on the verge of completing the signing of Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea, according to a report.

Three reliable journalists, namely Fabrizio RomanoMatt Law and Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews) all confirm that it is a loan with an option to buy at €28m (£25m). The loan is for six months and thus the Rossoneri will have to decide in the summer.

According to il Corriere dello Sport, the price of the option to buy will ‘fluctuate around €25m’ suggesting that it is dependant on a number of different factors.

Despite his lack of playing time this season, Frank Lampard ‘strongly believes’ in the defender whom he considers a ‘prop for the future’. Milan have got a deal over the line for the 23-year-old England international though, so ‘Tomori Day’ can begin.
