CorSport: Milan attempt late hijack of Lazio’s €21.5m double deal with Juventus

By Oliver Fisher -

Lazio face late competition from AC Milan as they look to complete the signing of Luca Pellegrini and Nicolò Rovella, a report claims.

According to Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), an agreement between Lazio and Juventus was reached over both Pellegrini and Rovella in a double deal which is worth €21.5m.

The signatures have not yet arrived but if everything goes smoothly then Lazio will have a new left-back and central midfielder for Maurizio Sarri to work with, but there could be a late sting in the tale.

As per the report, Milan have made a late attempt to hijack the Rovella deal, while the Rossoneri also need a left-back and their interest in Pellegrini has been registered.

They could overtake the capital club in the race for both players but things do not seem in danger at present for Claudio Lotito’s side, though they will be hurrying to get things over the line.

    1. Right so by that thought process we should sell Mike, and not sign RLC and Pulisic as they’ve had many injury issues. Ok.

  1. Rovella and Pellegrini both have had injury problems, but sometimes you can take a gamble and all they need to do is change teams. I doubt that Juventus would give a fair price on either. Suddenly they’ll ask 30-35 million for both.

    1. This isnthe best comment. The orice will deffer when Milan comes 100%. And tbf it even makes sense in this instance because Pellegrini refused every club that tried for him and when Bennaser is back Rovella (if played till then) is likely out.
