CorSport: Milan and Napoli share three targets in view of the summer

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Napoli are looking like they will have to sign a striker this summer to replace Olivier Giroud and Victor Osimhen respectively, and a report has claimed that they share three targets.

It has been reported for some time that Milan intend to use a large part of their budget for the next summer transfer window to sign a top-tier striker, because they are hoping to land the No.9 for the future.

Any name worthy of being Giroud’s next heir comes with a major expense naturally, because they must guarantee a certain return in terms of goals. As Corriere dello Sport (via Radio Rossonera) report, three names stand out: Joshua Zirkzee, Jonathan David, or Santiago Gimenez.

The paper suggests that €50m is budgeted for the signing of the new striker by the Milan management, but for all three they could find themselves having to deal with competitions from Napoli because they are the same trio they have on their list.

Aurelio De Laurentiis’ club are destined to lose Victor Osimhen in the summer and they are likely to fetch quite a large return from his sale, which they could then use to put forward a big economic package for a target.
