CorSport: Milan need several signings to bolster squad – the positions to be addressed

By Oliver Fisher -

It promises to be a busy summer for AC Milan’s management as they must address several gaps in the squad, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) takes stock of Milan’s future and remarks how it will be essential to get the team’s plans to strengthen during the next transfer market right, filling the gaps that have been seen this season.

The paper writes that a deputy to Zlatan Ibrahimovic is needed and one capable of guaranteeing a certain number of goals and games, given the disappointment of Mario Mandzukic’s signing so far. Not only that, but a technically stronger bench with upgrade on players like Jens Petter Hauge, Rade Krunic and Soualiho Meïté is required. did not add much.

Then, they will need replacements for Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu if the pair decide not to renew their contracts which expire at the end of next month and instead wish to leave.

  1. Not a deputy to Zlatan but one to retire him then call back Colombo or promote Roback to deputy him(the one who retired Zlatan),they better not build the team on the old and tired legs of Zlatan if they really want to achieve something serious next season.
    Forza Milan.
