CorSport: Milan offered Liverpool striker through intermediaries

AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign striker Roberto Firmino on a free transfer by his entourage, according to a report.

Today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) writes how the primary objective for Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara (should they be kept for the coming season as well) will be to sign a striker who can score 15-20 goals per season.

Yesterday Liverpool officially announced that four players with expiring deals – namely Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner, Naby Keïta and Firmino – will not renew and will be free to sign for another club from next month.

There are several clubs keen on the Brazilian striker and he was offered to the Rossoneri through intermediaries. He is 31 years old and has a great desire to show his worth against after a tough last few months in England.

So far this season, Firmino has scored 11 goals and provided 5 assists in 33 games played for the Reds, playing an average of just 49 minutes per game.
