AC Milan enter the final week of the summer transfer window knowing that the bulk of the work that needed doing has been done, but it may not be a quiet week for the Rossoneri.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News), there is one position in which Milan still think they can strengthen before the transfer window slams shut.
The hierarchy at Milan would like to provide Paulo Fonseca with one more player, and that player is expected to be Manu Kone. The assumption is that Silvano Vos is on his way and the work to sign the Ajax youngster has been done.
Kone is expected to play against Bayer Leverkusen this evening in Borussia Monchengladbach’s season opener, but that could be his final game for the Bundesliga side.
Monchengladbach would like the fixed part of the deal to be €20m, but Milan are also busy working on outgoings to help fund that move.
Ismael Bennacer, Yacine Adli and Tommaso Pobega are all for sale and at least one would need to leave in order for Kone to arrive.
Milan could attempt to involve Bennacer in the move which would prove convenient but negotiations will need to take place to see if there is any interest.
Would rather let them have Pobega or Adli
Bennacer is one of the most creative in the midfield on his good day and a good team player

I agree with RLC out. As long as I remember, he just have 2 good games last season Rennes and PSg. And that 1 game in early serie a season where he scored a screamer to bottom right in transition. Others went unnoticed.
We should sign him regardless of who leaves.
AND we need another real #9 to help Morata carry the load for a whole season

Problem with lack of italian players ,its also due to the clubs they bring players from other countries but don’t give chances to italians.

Bennacer is the only midfielder we have who can tackle, pass, AND play under pressure.
Not to mention he proved against Napoli in the Champions League that he can be an emergency number 10.
Fofana is good, but not the best passer.

Its bennacer who was used tactically as No:9 bh Pioli to disrupt napoli DMF that lead to win us the 2matches in quarter finals. Because of his Manmarking and defensive capabilities.
Last season he was injured most part. He have played only 1match this season .

I’d keep Bennacer and give him a chance and bring Kone too. We’d still have to get rid of three. RLC would be my preferred exit. He’s just too inconsistent.
