Milan decided to part ways with Gigio Donnarumma, who won’t renew his contract, and replaced him immediately with Mike Maignan. The goalkeeping lineup for next season is thus taking shape, with just one piece missing.
In addition to Gigio, his brother Antonio will also leave the club and that means the role of third-choice goalkeeper will be free. Instead of signing a new player, who would barely get any playing time, Milan have another plan in mind.
According to Corriere Dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews, the Rossoneri will promote Primavera star Andreas Jungdal to the first team. The Dane will act as the third-choice goalkeeper and this should give him some much-needed experience.
Meanwhile, Ciprian Tatarusanu has a contract with the club until 2023 and will remain the backup choice of Stefano Pioli. The expectation is that Maignan will play a majority of the games, just like Donnarumma has in the last few years.

Hey Adi….ROback is too immature for this stage bro. You should see his Primavera games he is their Leao to be honest. He has the talent though but will need 2-3 more years of loan atleast to come in the starting Lineup. We need a Striker in his prime like a Bellotti in Ibra’s absence since he won’t play more than 20 games & who can guarantee 20-25 goals If we’re looking cross the Group stages of the UCL and compete for Top 4 in Serie A.
What about Alessandro Plizzari? Isn’t it time he came back into the fold?
He had a torrid season at Reggina. He even lost his starting place in December last year. Hasn’t featured since. He should be sold rather.
He had a long injury, then tested positive for Covid-19.
They should either loan him again, or make him a third keeper ahead of Jungdal.
Plizzari should be resent to loan and milan should go for another backup goalie rather than promoting a Youngster as we will be in champs league so we need anoter reliable backup
