CorSport: Milan could sell duo for close to €70m – final signing then possible

The AC Milan management could give Paulo Fonseca one final new signing before the window closes, but they reportedly need to sell players first.

As Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes this morning, metaphor of the creation of Zlatan Ibrahimovic is stuck at the sixth of seven days which suggests that there is room for further additions.

For something to happen however, there is the need to trim down the current size of the squad, also because of the Champions League and Serie A squad list issue, and that means some sales are necessary.

After Pierre Kalulu and Tommaso Pobega departed, the paper claims that some clues have come directly from the disastrous away match against Parma, where Alexis Saelemaekers and Ismael Bennacer remained on the bench for the entire match.

The duo seem to be the main suspects to leave despite the fact that last week against Torino they started, demonstrating that they would still have a role within the Rossoneri project.

The Algerian has admirers in Saudi Arabia, but at the moment no official offer has arrived with Milan for their part not intending to make too many discounts on the €50m clause.

As for Saelemaekers, on the other hand, with an offer of at least €20m he could leave the club, but Fonseca continues to consider him as being important for his game.
