CorSport: Milan set sights on Hellas Verona star valued at €20m

AC Milan continue to be linked with a number of midfield targets and Adrien Tameze of Hellas Verona is the latest, according to a report.

According to what is being reported in today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), Milan are looking closely at Tameze as they hope to bolster the midfield after Ismael Bennacer suffered a long-term injury.

However, Verona want €20m for Tameze, a figure that requires careful consideration for Milan who will also have to battle fierce competition from Genoa and above all Monza.

Geoffrey Moncada is fascinated by the physical and technical skills of the class of 29-year-old, who racked up 39 appearances for the Gialloblu last season.

Given that the French midfielder’s contract is expiring in 2024, there could well be room for negotiation on the €20m asking price as per the paper.

Tameze represented France at youth levels but then accepted a call-up to play for Cameroon in August 2018.
