Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be facing a familiar foe on Monday when Roma roll into the San Siro, and a foe that he has had plenty of positive games against.
The Rossoneri will be looking to make it nine wins from nine in all competitions to begin the 2020-21 season as they welcome the Giallorossi on Monday night, and they will once again lean on their talisman Ibrahimovic who has four goals in two league starts.
As il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive) reports on Sunday, the Swede’s numbers against Roma speak for themselves. He has played 19 official games against the capital club and has been victorious in 13 of them.
Not only that, but he has racked up 10 official goals and 3 assists across that spain. In his first spell with the Rossoneri, Ibra scored four times.
In the 2011-12 season Ibrahimovic was decisive both in the first games and in the return, scoring a brace at the Olimpico in a 3-2 win and the same in the same scoreline at San Siro later in the season.
