CorSport: Milan to use sales of €40m duo to finance deal for Real Madrid flop

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will use the money from the sales of André Silva and Suso to fix their centre-forward problem, according to a report.

As il Corriere dello Sport reports on Monday (via MilanLive), the Rossoneri will sell the duo in order to finance a move for Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic this summer.

Suso’s permanent stay at Sevilla is in fact linked to the qualification for the Champions League and with Sevilla currently third, the chances of that happening are increasing by the week.

Andre Silva meanwhile continues to score continuously for Eintracht Frankfurt. At the moment he has 14 goals and 5 assists in 33 games across all competitions – a return that is pushing the Bundesliga club to start discussing the price, with the player also motivated to continue his adventure in Frankfurt.

If Milan manage to recoup more than €20million from the Portuguese striker’s exit – a value that would also bring a capital gain – the total figure would rise to over €40m total considering the other €20m that would come for Suso.

That is cash that CEO Ivan Gazidis would make available to reinforce the attack, with Jovic the top target.
