CorSport: Milan waiting to pounce as details of Fiorentina striker’s unhappiness emerge

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are ready to pounce as striker Dusan Vlahovic appears to have reached an impasse with Fiorentina, according to a report.

The Rossoneri are expected to undergo changes in each department this summer, but the fact that Zlatan Ibrahimovic looks set to renew means that the plans to spend big on a centre-forward now appear to have been shelved.

As a result, Vlahovic’s name has been emerging as a possible option to become Ibrahimovic’s deputy.

Tuttosport (via MilanNews) recently reported that Milan have set their sights on the Serbian, but that La Viola will not even come to the negotiating table for less than €40m – a price which seems too steep.

According to the latest from il Corriere dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com), the 20-year-old was disappointed with his lack of playing time under head coach Beppe Iachini towards the end of the season.

This also risks having repercussions on the negotiations for the renewal of his contract until 2025, and the paper adds that the interest of Milan and a couple of Bundesliga clubs is no mystery.
