AC Milan will call several players over the course of the summer to discuss the renewal of their contracts, according to a report.
Il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive) writes how the priority is certainly the Franck Kessie situation as the Ivorian has proved to be an indispensable player for Milan. The management will try to satisfy the requests of Kessie’s entourage who would like €5m net per season, with the current offer €3.5m plus bonuses. Perhaps promising him the captain’s armband could help.
With Donnarumma’s farewell, Milan lost their vice-captain and could soon say goodbye to captain Alessio Romagnoli as well, as it is unlikely that the club will reach an agreement with Mino Raiola over a renewal.
It is completely different situation for Davide Calabria who really wants to continue with Milan, meaning negotiations over his renewal shouldn’t be a problem. Finally, Simon Kjaer is among the players who will be called as his deal expires in 2022. The Dane will be offered a better salary due to the the importance he holds within the group.
