AC Milan are willing to let veteran midfielder Riccardo Montolivo leave for China to help fund a January bid for Yannick Carrasco, a report claims.
Montolivo joined Milan from Fiorentina back in 2012 and was captain of the club for a while, but has yet to make an appearance this season under Gennaro Gattuso.
Sunday’s Corriere dello Sport states that two Chinese clubs are willing to offer Montolivo – has been training away from the main team for a while now – an escape route.
The two clubs are willing to double his wages and Montolivo will consider both options, given his desire to reignite his career with a lucrative pay packet.
Milan could even use the 34-year-old as a counterpart in a move to bring Dalfin winger Carrasco to San Siro.
