CorSport: Napoli winger emerges as an alternative target to Toulouse star Adli

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are interested in signing Napoli winger Adam Ounas to replace Samu Castillejo, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive) writes that Samu Castillejo is not part of Milan’s plans and a move to Real Betis seems the most likely solution, but they must first sell Nabil Fekir for €25-30m with Arsenal interested.

With the departure of the Spanish winger, Milan would be able to focus on buying a new player to complete that department and while Hakim Ziyech can also play there, he is viewed more as the replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu if he were to arrive.

The name at the top of the list is still 21-year-old Amine Adli of Toulouse. Contacts between the parties are frequent but the final agreement has not yet been found, with competition in Germany and France also making things more difficult.

An alternative is ready: Adam Ounas of Napoli. The Franco-Algerian had an excellent second half of the season with Crotone despite the fact they struggled so much, amassing four goals and four assists. He is a creative goal threat who can beat a man, which is exactly what Milan want.
