In addition to players, Milan are also looking to strengthen the technical department. In fact, Stefano Pioli recently welcomed a new member to his staff and this person came from their city rivals Inter, a report claims.
According to today’s edition of Corriere Dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews.it, Giuseppe Bellistri has left Inter to join Milan. The fitness data analyst, after five years with the Nerazzurri, has decided to continue his career with Stefano Pioli.
The task of Bellistri will be to take care of the details, analyzing the technical data to improve the performance of the players. Once again, in other words, the Rossoneri have demonstrated their will to improve on all fronts.
Hopefully, Pioli will be able to build on the fantastic performances from towards the end of this past season. Should he manage to do so, then Milan will arguably compete for a top-four finish and subsequently a Champions League spot.
